Here we listed a few questions that may arise about our company.
Unlike other companies, I will be producing children's books under my company. So even though my company’s name is P2 Manga, I also publish children books (ex: books like clifford the big red dog, dr. suese, etc.)
As much as I would love to,…. No. I cannot guarantee the success of a book in my company, and that goes with any other publishing company. We can only get your book out there. It’s up to the book to sell itself on it’s content.
My company will accept the following genre’s:
Horror, comedy, mystery, adventure, sci-fi, fantasy, action, and romance.
Sorry, we do not accept projects that are just stories only. you must have your own artist. We do not provide an arist for you. Your are more than welcomed to submit an artist/writer team submission.
Yes. Your books will be in online stores as well as book stores, but that is up to the buyers if they will accept the books in their stores.
No. My company doesn't accept yuri and yaoi submissions.
No. My company doesn't take your copyrights from you the author/artist. You keep your rights to your works, we just sell your books.
Graphic novel- A graphic novel /manga is a self contained story that uses a combination of text and artwork. A manga would go under these guidelines since it is basically art with words.
Novel- A novel is a lengthy form of writing in which the writer forms many plots and channels through out the story. Of course there are different kinds of novels (ex. short story, children book, nonfiction, biography, etc.)
No. Submitting with us is free. Just follow the rules on the submission page.
As much as I wish this were true, sadly no. Publishing is something that takes time and dedication and can be a very slow process. So, no. Publishing is not the route you should take if you believe it will make you an instant success.
No, at this time we do not accept artist submissions. We won't be able to pay you up front, only by a pay by sale basis. We will let you all know when we will be accepting artist submissions.
Yes. If you are a writer and can't draw, but have a friend that can, then by all means submit. If you are submitting a group submission then go to the submissions page and follow the rules for submissions.
Oh no! Not at all. Vanity publishers charge you quite a fee to submit your book. Plus they will accept any book that come their way. That's why it's called a vanity publisher. You are basically paying to say "Hey I got published!" Now i'm not trying to slander anyone, if that's what you want then go for it!
More questions will be on here as I see fit. Updates will become available as needed.
